Sober if speculative account of what happened behind curtains with the brittish royals after the death of princess Diana, all of it during the ascense to power of recently elected Prime Minister Tony Blair. Helen Mirren disappeared into her role and, along with the knowing screenplay, was the best single thing of the otherwise mean film.
